Plastics

The flora of plastics is enormous and Sundquist can supply several die cut-able variants:
ABS, Polyamide (PA), Polycarbonate (PC), Polyethylene (PE), Polypropylene (PP), Polystyrene (PS),
Polyvinyl chloride (PVC), Teflon^® (PTFE) etc.
We also have a wide range of cellular plastics such as Cellular Polyethylene (PE), Polyurethane (PUR), foamed PVC, etc.

Plastics are primarily divided into three variants:
Constructional plastics (hard), Foils and Cellular plastics (soft).

Applications for constructional plastics are for example:
• Impact protection
• Sliding surfaces (low friction)
• Support components
• Inserts
• Spacers
• Displays (acrylics)

Applications for cellular plastics are for example:
• Sound absorbers
• Insulations (heating/cooling)
• Protections
• Inserts
• Spacers
• Gap fillers
• Support components
• Packaging

Foils such as Polyester (Mylar^®) are mostly used within the electronics industry as insulating material. Refer to tab electronic materials for more information.
